Access 2 Perspectives (A2P) operates a distributed, open scholarly communication infrastructure supporting AfricArXiv and related research dissemination services. Our systems are designed to ensure resilience, interoperability, and long-term sustainability of open science outputs across global research communities.
We collaborate with specialized technical and infrastructure partners to ensure robust service delivery. This includes eScire, who provides implementation and operational expertise in deploying and maintaining open-source repository systems such as DSpace and Dataverse, ensuring reliable functionality, interoperability, and standards compliance across research data platforms.
Our infrastructure is hosted in collaboration with WindCloud, a sustainable cloud provider operating a carbon-negative datacenter powered by wind energy and algae-based carbon capture technology. This partnership ensures that our digital research infrastructure is not only reliable and scalable, but also aligned with environmental sustainability principles.
