Survey Announcement: Online Privacy and Identity Verification

VeriMe is inviting researchers worldwide to share their experiences with online privacy and identity verification. The short 5-minute survey collects insights to guide better, safer, and more transparent systems for research verification and collaboration.

VeriMe — a cooperative platform working to make digital identity management in research safer, more transparent, and community-driven.

Access 2 Perspectives supports this initiative because digital trust affects every part of research. From signing in to journals to managing data, your identity online matters. This survey helps identify what works and what needs to change.

Why your input matters:

  • Many researchers face challenges with digital verification and privacy.
  • The survey will help design privacy-first systems built around researchers’ needs.
  • Your experience will inform future standards for secure, open collaboration.

Survey details:

  • Open from 8 September 2025 to 31 December 2025.
  • Takes about 5 minutes to complete.
  • Participants receive a VeriMe membership discount code.
  • Available globally and in multiple languages

The VeriMe team is also organizing regional focus groups to continue the conversation. Registration details are shared once you complete the survey. All responses are anonymous, encrypted, and handled with care, and no personal information is required unless you opt in for updates.

Join this important effort to ensure that research communities everywhere can connect and collaborate with trust and transparency.
