Love Data Week 2026.

Love Data Week is an annual celebration of data to highlight the importance of research data management (RDM), data sharing, and data literacy.

At Access 2 Perspectives, we support researchers and research institutions in strengthening their research data management practices through training in a globally inclusive context. We offer training on Research Data Management in compliance with the FAIR and CARE Principles  – #beFAIRandCARE.

For African Scholars, AfricArXiv is a community-led repository that aims to increase the visibility and accessibility of African Research outputs, including data. Together with UbuntuNet Alliance, the Dataverse Project Team, and supported by Invest in Open Infrastructure (IOI), we are >> Unlocking Potential: Elevating Open Institutional Repositories in Africa for Global Impact <<

This Love Data Week, we invite you to:

  • Reflect on your own or your institution’s data management practices with the help of our Research Health Check Questionnaire
    • Are you familiar with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) for research data management and how to apply them to your own work? If not, what are the barriers?
    • Are you familiar with the CARE principles (Collective benefit, Authority to control, Responsibility, Ethics) for research data management and how to apply them to your own work? If not, what are the barriers?
    • How confident are you in sharing your research data while ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards?
  • For researchers and research teams: Book a discovery call and learn how you can manage your data in a globally inclusive way:  https://zcal.co/access2perspectives/discovery-call
