Awino Kawino is a passionate Environmentalist & Green Transitions consultant with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Education and a completed dissertation on “Green Growth Practices in Textile Manufacturing Mills in Kenya”.

MSc.Env.Studies at Kenyatta University.

Ms.Awino has worked with various organizations in Kenya, in Africa, and internationally such as Eco-Schools Kenya, National Environmental Management Authority, The Kenya Wildlife Service, Future Rural Development Africa, Ecoclimate Vision, SECAM (West Africa), University of Bonn, University of Hull, University of Nairobi, Strathmore University and Kenyatta University. As a current activist with the Kenya Environmental Action Network and the Pan-African Climate Justice Forum. Kawino is currently the global student representative for student members in the Textile Institute and supports various postgraduate working groups such as the Environmental Justice (PWG) global students forum network.
