Talking about leaving the comfort zone… What you can listen to here is what I had previously only shared in safe spaces with friends, family, and people I thought could become my mentors. This is a premier of opening up and connecting both my passion and profession with each other. As it happened, much easier than anticipated thanks to Ghazali’s gentle interview guidance, I wondered why it took me so long…. Anyhow; here it is; the beginning of a new era in my life.
It’s been a deeply memorable experience to be interviewed by Ghazali Ohorella, the host of the Gomaluku Podcast and the thought leadership show #HowToIndigenousNOW where he provides a safe space and uplifting platform for indigenous mentors and leaders from around the world.
In this episode, I talk to Ghazali about my career path and what drives and motivates me in Life. We talk about my passion for environmental protection, animal right s and human rights and how all three align with my dedication to research.
- How can we better learn or communicate with the animal world?
- Why is there a gap between researchers and Indigenous Peoples, and how can we overcome the gap?
- What do I want to be remembered for the most?
